My name is Niles Ackerman. I am a Holistic Health and Fitness Coach here to empower you with knowledge, tools, wisdom, and guidance to create harmony in all areas of your life. I provide online or in-person coaching in the forms of personal training, nutrition, lifestyle patterns, self-discovery, life purpose, meditation, emotional intelligence, relationships, and more. Working together is highly customizable for your goals and interests.
 
Health, one might say, is the most important thing in life. We are here to live life to the fullest and our health is the foundation for our life experience. Health is a broad word, encompassing the balance of our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual states of being. Our lives are a dynamic dance of goals, challenges, setbacks, and breakthroughs. My approach to health can be summed up in one simple phrase: Everything is connected! From the elements that we put into our bodies, to the thoughts that we entertain in our minds, to the posture we maintain with our spines, all facets that make up human life play a role in our overall well-being.
 
 

As a holistic health and fitness coach I am passionately driven to end human suffering and expand human consciousness on planet earth so that we can live in harmony with nature and with one another. As one who has personally healed from anxiety, depression, and purposelessness, I am here to empower you with tools, wisdom, and guidance to create health, wealth and abundance in your life. I am here to show you how amazing you really are, and that you are the master of your reality. I’m here to help awaken your intuition, your second brain (your gut) and expand your heart. I am here to be your accountability partner and to guide you in reaching greater depths of self love, trust, and confidence. I am here to show you where your passion and the world’s hunger meet. I am here to help align and purify your physical body while allowing you to feel whole, complete and connected in every waking moment. Together with love and inspiration, we will revitalize all areas of your life, actualize your goals, and build a relationship centered around growth, expansion, health and well being.

 
PERSONAL TRAINING –
 
Personal Training takes place in Pacific Grove, CA at Neighborhood 831 Strength and Conditioning. I will create a personalized workout program for your individual goals, and I will be there every step of the way to guide you through healthy movement patterns. Whether you are looking to lose weight, build strength or develop range of motion, together we will actualize your fitness goals.

What is my role as a mentor for health?
 
I am primarily here to empower you with tools, wisdom, and guidance to create health, wealth and abundance in your life. I am here to show you how amazing you really are. I am here to show you that you are the master of your reality. I’m here to help awaken your intuition, your second brain (your gut) and expand your heart. I am here to be your accountability partner. I am here to guide you in strengthening your discipline, trust, and confidence in yourself. I am here to show you where your passion and the world’s hunger meet. I am here to help align and purify your physical body while allowing you to feel whole, complete and connected in every waking moment.
 
How will we do this?
 
We look at what you are putting inside your body – the food you eat – and shift to an organic, whole-food-based way of eating. We will identify everything that you are putting in your body and where it comes from. We will look at the water you consume – we are 70% water! – We will identify water quality and optimize your hydration on a cellular level.
 
We move the physical body. We will work with the subtle (tai chi, chi gong, zen exercises) and we will work with the physical body with functional movement while assessing and alleviating tension, impingements and imbalances. This aspect is highly customizable to your goals. I am a certified physical trainer and I can also create a personalized workout plan for you. From a holistic point of view, a fit body is a capstone to a healthy foundation of life.
 
We work with the mind – On average humans have 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts per day. We must ask the question, what is the quality of all these thoughts? Our lives are a direct reflection of how we think and feel. Through meditative techniques such as mindfulness, elevated emotion, and shamanic journey, we will shine the light on your subconscious mind to put you back in control of your internal state of being. We will work on eliminating limiting beliefs while uncovering layers of the subconscious mind that will set you truly free.
 
We will work with emotions – our emotional bodies (as well as our physical bodies) store trauma, subconscious beliefs, and imprints from our past experiences. By working with different techniques to become aware of emotions and release imbalanced emotions we will clear your field of feelings that may be hindering your growth in emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, or financial areas of life.
 
We will analyze the quantity and quality of rest that we achieve. This includes sleep, downtime, and relaxation of mind and body. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping, and its function is massively important to our balanced functioning in daily life.
 
Other practices may include yoga, cold therapy, nature walks, breathwork, positive affirmation, personal development worksheets, and more.
